In response to the growing needs of new and existing clients, GKV announced today the addition of six new employees.
The new hires represent a variety of disciplines and backgrounds, including account management, digital analysis, grassroots marketing, media planning and public relations.
Julia D’Esterre, Grassroots Outreach Assistant Account Executive
D’Esterre, of Shamong, N.J., joins GKV as an Assistant Account Executive in GKV’s grassroots and outreach department. D’Esterre had previously worked on the Maryland Physicians Care (MPC) account as a part-time employee and has now officially joined the team in a full-time role. She will continue to work on the MPC account as well as the Baltimore Ravens, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield and PANDORA Jewelry accounts.
Prior to joining GKV, D’Esterre interned with Grow LLC, as well as Prudential Fox and Roach Realtors of Medford N.J. D’Esterre is a recent graduate of James Madison University with a bachelor’s degree in media arts & design.
Emily Ellenberger, Assistant Account Executive
Ellenberger, of Baltimore, Md., will perform day-to-day client relationship functions for PANDORA Jewelry. In this role, she will oversee the execution of the client’s campaigns and projects.
Prior to joining the GKV team, Ellenberger worked for Marriner Marketing Communications as a traffic coordinator specializing in digital functions. She graduated from Salisbury University with a bachelor’s degree in communications and minor in marketing.
Rick Hebert, Public Relations Senior Account Executive
Hebert, a Baltimore County native, has been hired as a Public Relations Senior Account Executive at GKV. He will perform public relations tasks and manage client relationship functions with Aerotek, Shentel Broadband, L-3 Communications, the Maryland Lottery, Snyder’s of Hanover and Snyder’s-Lance.
In Hebert’s former role at Fleishman-Hillard in Washington, D.C., he focused on media relations efforts for a number of B-to-G focused technology and cyber security companies, in addition to government agencies. While attending Randolph-Macon College, Hebert wrote for the local newspaper, the Hanover Herald-Progress, and then went on to work for the Richmond Times-Dispatch. Hebert graduated with a degree in English.
Amelia Miller, Account Executive
Miller, of Baltimore, Md., will perform day-to-day functions as an Account Executive on the Shentel Broadband, Blue Shield of California and CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield accounts. She will help to oversee the execution of client campaigns and manage client relations.
Miller joins GKV with agency experience, having most recently worked as an account executive at Sensis and LM&O Advertising, specializing in the digital field. A Kentucky native, Miller earned her degree in marketing from the University of Louisville.
Adi Raval, Digital Analyst
Raval, a Baltimore resident, has been appointed Digital Analyst at GKV. His role will include reporting on analytics from digital marketing campaigns, optimizing digital performance and developing client recommendations.
Raval previously managed all of triCerat Inc.’s online functions, including email, search and digital marketing, reporting, and analytics. In 2012, he earned a master’s degree in marketing from the joint University of Baltimore and Towson University MBA program.
Stacy Smith, Media Planner
Smith, of Bel Air, Md., joins the GKV team as a media planner. In this role, she will help to develop media plans for agency clients, including Cape Cod Potato Chips, Snyder’s of Hanover and Shentel Wireless, a Sprint affiliate.
Smith previously worked for GKV in 1997 and continued to freelance for the agency for a number of years. Prior to rejoining the GKV team, Smith worked at Web Ad.vantage as a media supervisor specializing in digital media planning and buying.
