We traveled to New York City with PANDORA Jewelry earlier this month to help bring the brand’s sponsorship of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (MBFW) to life. This year, PANDORA partnered with international designer, Vivienne Tam, adding finishing touches to the designer’s Spring 2015 Ready to Wear Collection. Tam chose to pair her runway looks, which were inspired by the flora and fauna of Beijing’s Forbidden City, with PANDORA’s uniquely styled bracelets and colorful hand-blown Murano glass charms. Guests of MBFW also had the chance stop by the PANDORA lounge at Lincoln Center to preview PANDORA’s elegant Autumn/Winter 2014 collections and take snapshots in the brand’s photo booth activation.
PANDORA celebrated the launch of its new PANDORA Rose™ line at MBFW, hosting an exclusive preview party for 120 guests on the rooftop of the Empire Hotel, next to the Lincoln Center. The GKV Reach team brought the theme to life with 10,000 roses, highlighting the inspiration behind the collection of rose-hued charms, rings, pendants and earrings. Special guests Miss Universe and Miss TEEN USA were in attendance, along with Chyna Layne of Precious and PANDORA celebrity stylist and brand ambassador Cristina Ehrlich.
The fashion week fun didn’t end there. PANDORA also joined forces with Harlem’s Fashion Row (HFR) to host a breakfast with influential media, a luncheon with fashion editors and a gala as part of the 7th Annual Harlem’s Fashion Row Runway Show and Style Awards.
Overall, PANDORA’s participation at MBFW created multiple touch points for engagement with top fashion media, resulting in plenty of social media buzz using the hashtag #PANDORATakesNYC and coverage in Pretty Connected, Just Jared, The Examiner, National Jeweler and The Daily Quirk, among others.
