PANDORA Supports Change for Tomorrow with “Hearts of Today” Program

GKV was honored to work with PANDORA Jewelry to launch the inaugural PANDORA “Hearts of Today” program in 2014 — an initiative developed to celebrate the selfless work that women do within their communities and around the world.

To help select the women with the strongest and most inspiring stories, PANDORA assembled a board of five prominent women leaders whose individual resumes also boast an impressive list of philanthropic work: human rights advocate, Penny Abeywardena; Emmy Award-winning journalist, Shaun Robinson; philanthropist, June Sarpong; sociologist and author, Dr. Pepper Schwartz; and Andrea Alvey, a member of the PANDORA A/S Board of Directors.

The PANDORA Hearts of Today program kicked off in July with a call for entries and was followed by the jury deliberation process to narrow down the more than 700 nominations to 20 semi-finalists. The public was then invited to vote and select the final eight honorees. Each of the eight women received a $25,000 donation to help the organization they are working with achieve its goals. The final awards luncheon, which was hosted by country music artist Kellie Pickler and lifestyle expert Tai Beauchamp, was held on November 15, 2014 in Los Angeles.

GKV worked with PANDORA to create the Hearts of Today program, develop the creative, plan and execute key events and lead PR efforts for the campaign. Overall, PANDORA’s Hearts of Today program received more than 700 nominations for women across the U.S.
