Media Planner

GKV is seeking a media planner to become part of our media department. Our diverse client roster includes national and regional companies within the consumer package goods, health care, telecommunications, financial services, gaming, sporting goods, and health and wellness industries. Ideal candidate must have a degree in marketing or communications and at least 2-3 years of experience working in as a media planner. Must have familiarity planning and executing media campaigns across multiple formats; experience with digital media, paid social media and paid search campaigns is a must. E-commerce experience is a plus.

Job Requirements:

  • 2-3 years minimum of media planning experience
  • Experience with planning/buying paid social media campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter); Understanding the inner workings of Facebook Business Manager is a plus!
  • Experience with planning/buying paid search campaigns (Google Ads/ Bing Ads)
  • Knowledge of Strata, Google Campaign Manager
  • Responsible for creating, and executing integrated media plans
  • Familiarity with planning for digital and social media as well as TV, radio and outdoor
  • Explores new media opportunities and able to provide POVs
  • Ability to manage planning responsibilities for multiple clients
  • Ability to oversee media budgets
  • Ability to work well in a cross-team environment that includes account executives, digital project managers and analysts
  • Strong writing, communication, and critical thinking skills
