GKV Expands Team with Two New Hires
GKV, one of the mid-Atlantic’s largest independent marketing/advertising firms, announced today the expansion of their team with the addition of two new employees. GKV has made the following new hires:
Jon Leon, Senior Art Director
Leon, originally from Louisville, KY, joins GKV as a senior art director, where he oversees creative projects for GKV clients. He comes to GKV from HZDG, and over his career-span has worked with clients such as Hilton Hotels, Under Armour, Conair for Men, Newcastle Brown Ale, Asics Running Shoes, Maker’s Mark, Kentucky Lottery, Kentucky Tourism, and CHS Health Systems.
Leon graduated from the University of Louisville as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design, with a minor in art history. While at the University of Louisville, Jon earned a walk-on spot with the basketball team from 1993-1994. Today, he can be found coaching or playing basketball in his free time. Jon currently lives in Severna Park with his wife, Kirin and his proudest accomplishment to date, their 11-year-old daughter, Sophia.
Caprice Roché, Assistant Account Executive
Roché joins GKV as an assistant account executive, responsible for supporting the client-agency relationship. Her internship with the agency this past spring solidified Caprice as a beneficial asset to the team. She currently works with Sprint and clients focused in healthcare. Before working with GKV, she interned with TBC, Inc. and the Catholic Charities of Baltimore where she worked with clients including Natty Boh, Smyth, AAAS, and Visit Baltimore.
She graduated in spring from Towson University with a bachelor’s degree from the College of Fine Arts and Communication in mass communications, with a marketing dual-track minor in advertising and public relations. A Baltimore girl through and through, Caprice grew up in Hereford, MD and currently resides in Towson with plans to move into the city in the near future. Her favorite Baltimore past-time is Preakness, which she attended for the 19th time in May.
