GKV Hires Four New Employees to Support Agency Growth
GKV, one of the mid-Atlantic’s largest independent marketing/advertising firms, announced today the addition of four new employees. To accommodate the agency’s growing business needs, GKV has made the following new hires:
Kelly Irving, Digital Project Manager
Irving, originally from Westfield, NJ, joins GKV as a digital project manager, where she works with internal team members to successfully facilitate the development and execution of digital projects. She comes to GKV with prior experience in project management, most recently with MOJO Creative Digital, and has worked with clients such as Glyph Technologies, STScI, American Eagle, Macy’s, DSW, Urban Outfitters and projects with the states of Georgia and California.
As a 2014 graduate of Salisbury University with a degree in communications, her aptitude for organization and creativity assist her success in this role. Irving enjoys traveling the world to experience new cultures and trying new foods. She recently added stamps to her passport in both Spain and Italy.
Alex Flister, Digital Media Specialist
Flister, of Catonsville, MD, joins GKV as a digital media specialist, where she provides in-depth data analysis and determines actionable insights to improve efficiency of digital media and SEM campaigns.
Before joining GKV, Flister was employed by the Baltimore Sun as a media consultant. She has worked with clients in Howard County across several industries, including health care, education, retail, home improvement and real estate, to launch locally focused print and digital media campaigns. Flister graduated from Towson University with a double major in mass communications and political science in 2015. On the weekends, you can find her enjoying a big cup of coffee with her Garfield-lookalike cat, Fender.
Josh Geiger, Digital Campaign & Analytics Specialist
Geiger, a Fallston, MD native, has been hired as a digital campaign & analytics specialist at GKV. His role within the digital team includes strategizing, implementing and analyzing tracking for digital campaigns. This allows for a better understanding of campaign performance in order to provide feedback and actionable data to clients.
Prior to joining GKV, Geiger was a digital marketing specialist for Alliance Franchise Brands where he managed digital marketing campaigns for over 300 franchises in the sign and graphic industry. Geiger and his fiancé, Emma, live in the Federal Hill neighborhood of Baltimore with their 15-week-old puppy, Graham.
Kara Collins, Digital Project Coordinator
Collins, of Annapolis, MD, has been hired as a digital project coordinator at GKV. Her role within the digital team includes ensuring the ebb and flow of internal resources runs smoothly, managing client deliverables and communicating account and client needs to the internal GKV creative team. She also traffics all digital campaigns and assists the broadcast team with radio and television trafficking.
Prior to joining GKV, Collins was a marketing associate with Alderson Loop LLC, leading creation of company social media channels, editing and monitoring posts on their behalf. Collins graduated from Towson University in 2017, where she earned her degree in mass communications with a concentration in advertising and public relations and a minor in marketing. Collins thoroughly enjoys competitive sports and plays in volleyball leagues year-round.
