    Partner, Executive Vice President

As one of the managing partners at GKV, Garry now leads Business Development efforts at the agency. Prior to that, Garry helped guide the organization as it transitioned from a traditional agency into a fully, integrated agency able to deliver a full suite of digital services.

He has more than 30 years of marketing, direct response, and customer relationship management experience, working closely with clients of all sizes in a variety of categories, with a special expertise in marketing health care, insurance and financial products. He has led the development of strategies for GKV clients like the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Coventry Health Care, CareFirst BlueCross Blue Shield, Metropolitan Jewish Health System (MJHS), BGE Home, and Molina Healthcare.

Prior to joining GKV where in 2001, he co-founded GKV Direct, Garry created and managed Raim & Associates, a marketing firm that specialized in direct marketing, marketing consulting, and advertising development.

Previously, he was Chief Marketing Officer for the consumer division at BlueCross BlueShield of Maryland, where he introduced new direct marketing techniques that helped to build the division from an unprofitable, $80 million lackluster operation to a highly profitable, $200+ million model business unit.

Garry graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Maryland at College Park with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He has attended executive management courses at Columbia University and the University of Virginia, Darden Graduate School of Business. He has served as faculty at a number of national insurance and direct marketing conferences and taught at the Purdue University Certified Health Consultant Program.

Garry is a big fan of Albert Einstein, and although he might not understand Quantum Physics, he feels strongly that Einstein was correct when he defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
