Hugh is a senior member of our creative staff. He has written many memorable and highly effective campaigns for GKV clients. They include work for the Maryland State Lottery, Rosedale Federal Bank, Bob Bell Automotive, Columbia Association and BGE Home.
Hugh’s writing has received many accolades from peers in the advertising industry, including the One Show, Clio, London International, and National Addys. He is also a three-time Best in Show winner at the Baltimore Addy Awards.
His prior experience includes copywriting at W. B. Doner, Eisner Communications and the Dan Rosenthal Company.
Hugh’s creativity is not solely reserved for the advertising business. He has been an active member of the local theater community for many years. His favorite roles include the Scarecrow in “The Wizard of Oz,” Otto Frank in “The Diary of Anne Frank” and Jesus in “Godspell.”
He received his bachelor’s degree in advertising from Syracuse University and is also a graduate of the Portfolio Center. Hugh, his wife, Deb, and their two children live in Reisterstown, Md.
